An AI invented a bunch of place names that are hilariously English

These place names are straight out of Monthy Python.

An AI has invented silly and rude place names for a country that already boasts Nob End, Pity Me, and Great Snoring.

In a post on Medium, Dan Hon explains how he took a list of British place names and analyzed them with a neural network.

(He used jcjohnson’s torch-rnn.)

Step 5 is the most English:  “Go and have a cup of tea while you train your model”.

Faster than you can say “Titty-Ho”, he generated a list of new and bizarre places.

A jolly fine use for an AI, eh? Pip, pip!
