Humans have been reporting ghostly sexual encounters (a phenomenon known as “spectrophilia”) since at least the 13th century.
At the time, Catholic theologian Thomas Aquinas believed that demons lived in our world and frequently seduced humans.
The past 15 years have seen a boom in celebrity ghost sex.
Science throws ice water on these ghost sex encounters. They may be hypnagogic hallucinations — hallucinations that occur while the body is falling asleep. Or they can be a product of sleep paralysis, a sleep disorder that can leave sufferers hallucinating and unable to move, with a feeling of pressure on their chest.
It’s still classified as a fetish when people actually seek out sex with ghosts and prefer the spirits over real flesh and blood.
During his “20/20” interview Tuesday night, Bobby Brown told a new story about his celebrity ghost sex.
“I bought this mansion in Georgia … this was a really, really spooky place,” Brown told Robin Roberts. “But yes, one time, I woke up, and yeah, a ghost. I was being mounted by a ghost.”
Brown, who also claims he slept with Madonna and Janet Jackson, stresses that he was not on any drugs when the alleged sexual encounter occurred.
“I wasn’t high,” Brown says. “I was not tripping.”
In September 2012, Kesha aroused lots of publicity for her newly released single, “Supernatural,” when she told Ryan Seacrest the song was inspired by a sexy encounter with a male ghost.
She didn’t know his name but is okay with it.
“It’s about experiences with the supernatural … but in a sexy way,” she told Seacrest. “I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don’t know his name! He was a ghost! I’m very open to it.”
Ke$ha kept haunting the subject, telling Conan that she “went to the bone zone” with a ghost; one year later, she reported on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that her vagina was “haunted.”
She told Jimmy Kimmel: “I got a ghost meter to read [my body] and it just beeped at my vagina…It seemed to be accurate because I have been going through a dry spell and it was like beeping around and it all makes sense now.”
In April 2014, Ukranian-born actress Natasha Blasick scared up a lot of publicity after her celebrity ghost sex story. In fact, she did it twice because it was “really, really pleasurable.”
Blasick said the first time happened when she was alone in her room.
“I was laying in bed and then I felt something enter the room and I couldn’t see anybody,” she said, according to the Mirror. “I could feel that somebody was touching me and the hands were pushing me against my will and I could feel the weight of the body on top of me…I couldn’t see anybody but I could feel the pressure, the energy, the warmth pushing in different directions.”
To be crystal clear, she added: “I enjoyed it.”
Mockbuster Paranoid Activity 2(2011) starred Natasha in a battle against an Alaskan poltergeist.
Paz de la Huerta
The 27-year-old actress is infamous for her boozy antics, mind-boggling quotes and propensity for stripping naked.
Even so, the story she told The New York Times Magazine about her trip to Graceland is a doozy. She begged her then-boyfriend, Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland, to take her to Elvis’ studio, where, according to her, sensitive people would feel the singer’s presence.
She felt Elvis pass through and pleasure her, as if was he was “tickling [her] with a feather,” until he left her with an orgasm.
She had the same experience when her cat died and she “felt her spirit go through my body”. But you will be relieved to hear : “this was different”.
In 2013 Dan Aykroyd said that he believes that the guy who died and was buried in the hill next to the house crawled into bed with him.
In his words, “I saw the door open, and I rolled over and looked at the bed, and I saw the depression in the mattress, like somebody was getting in there…. And I thought, I’m just going to roll over and snuggle up next to it.”
Ackroyd takes this stuff in his stride. His great grandfather Sam Aykroyd was a psychic researcher who reviewed all the psychic acts that came through town. Growing up, his family even had their own trance medium.
As you do.
Anna Nicole Smith
Anna Nicole Smith seems to have had so much carnal knowledge of this ghost that she thought it was her boyfriend.
She told FHM : “I was freaked out about it, but then I was, like, Well, you know what? He’s never hurt me and he just gave me some amazing sex so I have no problem.”
What’s eerie about that interview is not so much the celebrity ghost sex angle but that she told the reporter :
“I’ve got so much on my plate—acting, modeling, movie scripts – that I’m probably gonna die at 37 like Marilyn.”
She was 39.
Matthew McConaughey keeps his ghost happy by being naked.
McConaughey claims that he used to encounter an old female ghost at his Hollywood home many years ago. He called her Madame Blue and says they made peace after he went to investigate a strange noise in his house, while he was naked.
Since then he says that he gets along “just fine” with her, adding: “Maybe me being nude all the time is why we get along!”
“I believe in ghosts because I had a perverted ghost at one time,” Coco Austin said on a talk show.
The ghost is more than a little fresh, too.
“I was watching TV, I was sitting on the couch at 11:00 AM and I was wearing a nightie and I felt my dress move up my leg,” Coco recalls. “I looked down and got freaked out….And then I felt a guy breathing in my ear.”
This wasn’t her first supernatural encounter. She’s been visited by ghosts in the tub and has seen them through her windows — although they’ve made themselves scarce ever since her husband, Ice-T, frightened them off.
