It’s a Woman’s Game of Thrones – Sisters are doing it for themselves, including making Kings

The biggest players on “Game of Thrones” are all women now.

Sansa has come into her own. She might not be King material, but she is definitely the King-Maker. Judging by the look on Little Finger’s face in the final episode, Jon Snow shouldn’t accept any strange goblets anytime soon!

Cersei has been forged by ritual humiliation, torture and ALL of her children’s death to become the first -and fiercest – queen of Westeros. With no children left to centre her emotions, Cersei is now capable of anything.

Daenerys has gone from political pawn/scared child bride to likely candidate for Queen of the seven Kingdoms. On the way, she’s picked up awesome dragons, massive armies and great hair. In the last episode, she even ditched her lover to focus on the ultimate throne. Way to out-ruthless the male players.

Yara is well on her way to becoming Queen of the Iron Islands, after a meeting of mutual womanly understanding between herself with Daenerys. They particularly bonded over their crappy fathers. A fearsome warrior, Yara could ravage and rape with one hand tied around her back.

After a long interruption, Arya Stark is back to working her way through her homicidal list. While she
doesn’t seem to be interested in the throne, she’s happily clearing the way for everyone else. Do not piss her off.

As for the men, I suspect that next season they will be lining up, begging Daenerys to marry them.

Turning history and literature topsy-turvy, it’s the men, not the women, who will be the political marriage bait next season.
